Vietnam Electricity Group supports Dak Lak province with 1 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13

Reporting on the implementation of the power grid troubleshooting, Director of Dak Lak Power Company Tran Van Thuan said that storm No. 13 caused problems at 4 110 kV transformer stations and caused heavy damage to the power grid due to metal roofs, objects and trees falling on the power lines, causing a power outage to 100% of customers in the eastern part of the province. Immediately after the storm passed, the company quickly deployed the troubleshooting work.

Up to this point, the total number of customers without power in the Eastern region is 54,712 customers (accounting for 17.4% of customers in the Eastern region of the province). Currently, power has been supplied to the central area of 34/34 communes and wards in the Eastern region of the province. Strive to restore power to basically 100% of customers in the Eastern region of the province by the end of today.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An acknowledged the efforts of the Electricity sector in overcoming the consequences of the storm to restore power as soon as possible to communes and wards in the eastern region of the province.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his thanks for the timely sharing and support of Vietnam Electricity Group; he affirmed that the province will allocate the support money from the group to the affected households as soon as possible so that people can restore their lives and production.
