Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc - Deputy Minister of Health chaired the coordination with units under the Ministry of Health to implement tasks under Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW and Project 06/CP of the Prime Minister.
Implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation, at the end of the afternoon of November 18, Dr. BSCKII Nguyen Tri Thuc - Deputy Minister of Health chaired and coordinated with units under the Ministry of Health to deploy tasks under Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on promoting interconnected, synchronous, fast and effective digital transformation to meet the requirements of restructuring the apparatus of the political system and Project 06/CP of the Prime Minister.
Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders and focal officers of the Departments: Science, Technology and Training, Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Disease Prevention, Social Protection, Mothers and Children, Traditional Medicine Management, Ministry Office, National Health Information Center, Food Safety Department, Drug Administration Department...
According to each assigned functional task group, the units report to Deputy Minister Nguyen Tri Thuc on the progress of implementing Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee and Project 06 of the Prime Minister at the Ministry of Health.
The National Health Information Center reports on the progress of updating data, administrative procedure parameters, and data from units to complete 12 health sector databases as well as administrative procedure sets to be applied at the National Public Service Portal according to the motto of correctness, sufficiency, cleanliness, liveness, unity, shared use, synchronization, and consistency.

Currently, 4 databases have completed connection with C12 of the Ministry of Public Security. The Ministry of Health is upgrading 7 databases, unifying connection with C12; At the same time, upgrading 2 cables according to local authorities for 01 database. The Ministry of Health is making efforts to promote related tasks to basically complete this in 2025.
However, at the meeting, the National Health Information Center also requested that the Departments and Offices need to complete professional processes so that the Center can design a common administrative procedure database for the entire industry.
The Traditional Medicine Administration proposed that the Ministry's leaders give their opinions on the unified use of drug registration codes with the Drug Administration to ensure consistency when building a national drug database. All units have completed the synthesis task, sent it to the National Health Information Center, and are waiting for the steps required by law to connect and synchronize with the National Public Service Portal.
Delegates also proposed solutions to urgently complete shared platforms, standardize and connect important databases, substantially improve the quality of online public services, create a solid foundation for the next development stage... requiring coordination from relevant ministries and branches to support the Ministry of Health in completing common political tasks.
Regarding the construction of online public services, the report at the meeting showed that relevant units of the Ministry are making efforts to upgrade the information system for handling administrative procedures.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc acknowledged the efforts of the units to speed up the progress. However, to achieve the goals of Plan 02 and Project 06, it is necessary for the Departments, Divisions and Centers to strengthen coordination and remove difficulties and obstacles.
The Deputy Minister requested the National Health Information Center to draft a working letter, make a progress list, with bold and underlined sections for Departments and Divisions that have not completed their tasks, and report to the Minister of Health.
Regarding the two databases of the Department of Social Protection and the Department of Mothers and Children being operated at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Deputy Minister assigned the Department of Science, Technology and Training to draft an Official Dispatch to advise the leaders of the Ministry of Health to coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs to unify management and development methods.
Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc also commented that the Medical Data Coordination System is one of the outstanding results (related to the medical field) that has been vigorously implemented according to the tasks of Project 06, piloted at Bach Mai Hospital with medical facilities in Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces; Cho Ray Hospital with medical facilities in Binh Duong and An Giang provinces.
The Deputy Minister assigned the National Health Information Center to synthesize and advise the leaders of the Ministry of Health to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security, hospitals, and pilot localities to organize a meeting to evaluate the results.
