Wear a mask to prevent infectious diseases
Currently, the Covid-19 epidemic situation is still complicated, wearing masks in areas where the disease is likely to arise and spread is one of the mandatory measures to effectively implement epidemic prevention and control work. Doctor Huynh Minh Chin, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, said: The Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has just issued an official dispatch requesting people to continue to wear masks at 6 locations according to Official Dispatch 2001/UBND-VX of the Provincial People's Committee. Using masks in public places is a personal preventive measure that contributes to reducing the spread of Covid-19 in the community, protecting people's health, especially high-risk groups such as people with underlying diseases, the elderly, people with immunodeficiency, and obese people.
According to preventive medicine experts, one of the ways Covid-19 spreads is through respiratory droplets when talking, coughing or sneezing. The virus can be spread by people without symptoms. Along with vaccination and disinfection, masks are still an effective shield to help protect health, reduce the risk of infection and disease outbreaks in the community. Wearing a mask according to the instructions of the health sector is something that everyone needs to do to join hands in preventing and fighting Covid-19 and other respiratory diseases.
Dr. Huynh Minh Chin, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, said: The 2K formula (masks, disinfectants) and vaccines are basic and important measures to prevent and control Covid-19 infection. Wearing masks helps reduce the risk of infection in the context of the complicated and unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 epidemic.
