Media outlet Newsis has just raised suspicions that BTS members Jin and J-Hope received special treatment on their enlistment day.

J-Hope officially enlisted in the military on April 18. To ensure security during the ceremony, soldiers were on duty at the entrance to the military base, stopping and checking every vehicle during the ceremony.

From here, the media agency raised suspicions about the special treatment of two members of BTS. They were allowed to bring more acquaintances into the enlistment ceremony venue than others.

However, regarding this issue, a representative of the military base in Wonju said that the general rule of only one vehicle per recruit entering the army is only a recommendation for safety, but not a mandatory rule. Therefore, any recruit is allowed to bring more than one acquaintance into the base to hold the ceremony.

J-Hope will receive basic military training before being assigned to an official unit.

According to Allkpop, J-Hope and the new recruits will be quarantined for a week due to Covid-19 before officially entering the basic training course. If there are no problems, he and his teammates will receive basic military training for 5 weeks before enlisting at the new recruit training center - Division 36 located in Wonju city, Gangwon province, South Korea.
