Media outlet Newsis has just raised suspicions that BTS members Jin and J-Hope received special treatment on their enlistment day.
J-Hope officially enlisted in the military on April 18. To ensure security during the ceremony, soldiers were stationed at the entrance to the military base, stopping and checking every vehicle during the ceremony.

However, according to Newsis, most ordinary citizens are only allowed one vehicle into the military base on the day of enlistment. Vehicles entering and leaving must present a draft letter from a family member or relative at the gate before being allowed to pass.
However, Hybe – BTS’s management company – had 6 vehicles allowed into the military base. This is also the number of vehicles allowed into the military enlistment ceremony in December 2022 of member Jin.
Notably, it was also reported that not only did military bases provide special permits for six Hybe vehicles to enter each enlistment ceremony, but the company's vehicles were allowed to enter before other vehicles, unlike most civilian vehicles that were stopped for inspection upon arrival.
From here, the media agency raised suspicions about the special treatment of two members of BTS. They were allowed to bring more acquaintances to the enlistment ceremony venue than others.
However, regarding this issue, a representative of the Wonju military base said that the general rule of allowing only one vehicle for each recruit is only a recommendation for safety, but not a mandatory rule. Therefore, any recruit is allowed to bring more than one acquaintance into the base to hold the ceremony.
J-Hope will receive basic military training before being assigned to an official unit.
According to Allkpop, J-Hope and the new recruits will be quarantined for a week due to Covid-19 before officially entering the basic training course. If there are no problems, he and his teammates will receive basic military training for 5 weeks before enlisting at the new recruit training center - Division 36 located in Wonju City, Gangwon Province, South Korea.
J-Hope's real name is Jung Ho-seok, born in 1994. He is a rapper, songwriter, dancer and music producer, a member of the group BTS.
The rapper released his debut mixtape Hope World in 2018. The album quickly became a hit, making him the highest-charting Korean solo artist on the US Billboard 200 at the time.
In September 2029, the male idol released the single "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Becky G. The single quickly reached number 81 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making J-Hope the first member of BTS to own a Hot 100 hit.
