Attending the seminar were comrade Nguyen Bang Thang - Head of Nghe An Provincial Tax Department; heads of specialized departments, affiliated units; representatives of business associations, business households in the province.

At the seminar, businesses and business associations listened to leaders and professional staff of Nghe An Provincial Tax Department thoroughly understand, analyze and clarify many important contents related to tax policies that are being and will be implemented in 2025.

The focus is on three main groups of issues: first, new and prominent tax policies that have a direct impact on the production and business activities of the business community; second, supportive tax policies for businesses and people; third, specific regulations related to value added tax, taxes in the field of e-commerce, land, registration fees, as well as policies on invoices, documents and identification of organizations and individuals. Thereby, helping taxpayers to promptly grasp and properly and fully implement legal regulations.

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Tran Anh Son - Chairman of the Association of Outstanding Enterprises of Nghe An province suggested that the Tax sector should continue to create more favorable conditions for the business community by reducing the frequency of unnecessary inspections and checks; promoting dialogue and listening to opinions from practical production and business activities.
The Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Association of Outstanding Enterprises also emphasized the requirement that information on tax policies must be public, transparent and fully conveyed to businesses, especially in the context of frequent policy changes.
“When businesses have problems, we hope that tax officials will explain them in a specific, clear, and easy-to-understand way. In addition, we need to increase training and knowledge development for businesses’ accounting teams so that they can grasp and properly implement the regulations,” Mr. Son suggested.

Opinions from other businesses and business households also focused on a number of prominent issues such as: The application of electronic invoices is still confusing, especially for small businesses, the elderly who are not familiar with technology or in remote areas; the Tax sector is requested to continue simplifying the process, increasing online and direct support; organizing specific training courses for each target group so that the policy can be effectively put into practice...
Taking note of the comments at the discussion, Mr. Nguyen Bang Thang - Head of Nghe An Province Tax affirmed that the Tax sector always accompanies and supports businesses and taxpayers in the area. All feedback and suggestions from the business community will be compiled, researched and have specific guidance documents for each policy group, ensuring clarity, ease of understanding and application. At the same time, the Tax sector will continue to increase direct support at headquarters, via phone and consulting channels, especially focusing on small businesses, who are likely to have difficulty accessing new policies.

Mr. Thang also said that in the coming time, Nghe An Provincial Tax will organize training courses and assign staff to localities, wards and communes to guide the implementation of electronic invoices, tax declaration and payment, helping taxpayers comply with regulations, minimizing errors and pressure in the process of fulfilling obligations to the State.
