At the talks, the two sides highly appreciated the development achievements of the relationship between the two Parties and two countries in recent times with many outstanding highlights following the "6 more" orientation.

In particular, Party channel cooperation has truly promoted its strategic orientation role in promptly grasping and urging the effective implementation of high-level common perceptions, promoting the development of relations between the two Parties and two countries to new heights.

The two sides expressed their delight at the good results of the high-level talks between General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, especially the fact that the two leaders reached many important common perceptions on major directions and measures to continue deepening and promoting the sustainable development of the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.

The two sides agreed on a number of directions and measures from the Party channel perspective to thoroughly grasp the leadership and strategic orientation of the two General Secretaries for the relationship between the two Parties and two countries in the new period.

The two countries need to maintain regular exchanges and contacts between senior leaders of the two Parties through flexible forms to promptly orient development strategies and strengthen relations. Increase sharing, consultation, and learning from each other's ideas, theories, and experiences, continue to expand and deepen bilateral cooperation mechanisms, including building a plan for cooperation between the two Parties, and well organizing the Special Theoretical Workshop between the two Parties.

The two sides agreed to hold annual meetings between the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the Head of the Central External Relations Commission of China; exchange and cooperation mechanisms between the parliaments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese National People's Political Consultative Conference; promote the coordinating role of the Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation, and exchange diplomatic, defense and public security strategies at the ministerial level.

In addition, we need to strongly promote substantive cooperation to better meet the interests of the people of the two countries. Vietnam and China need to coordinate to well organize the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, promote people-to-people exchanges, and consolidate a “more solid social foundation”...

The two sides agreed to strictly adhere to the high-level common perception in resolving maritime issues. Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested that the two sides respect each other's legitimate interests in accordance with international law, make efforts to better control and resolve maritime disputes by peaceful means, in accordance with international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), and maintain a peaceful and stable environment in the East Sea and in the region.
