( Bqp.vn ) - On the afternoon of March 21, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense 's Science Council held a meeting to evaluate and accept the research results of the topic "Improving the capacity of staff to advise on building the all-people national defense posture of the Vietnam People's Army's campaign and strategy cadres in the new period". Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Chairman of the Council chaired the meeting. The topic was chaired by the National Defense Academy, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Dinh Hong, former Political Commissar of the National Defense Academy, chaired the topic.

The Council unanimously assessed: The topic was carefully, meticulously, seriously researched, ensuring quality, following the process, plan and progress. The topic has discussed and clarified basic theoretical issues on improving the capacity to advise on building the national defense posture; proposed evaluation criteria and clarified the subject, object, content, method, and goal of improving the capacity to advise on building the national defense posture. At the same time, it has drawn out regular issues in improving the capacity to advise on building the national defense posture of the campaign and strategy cadres of the Vietnam People's Army.

Senior Lieutenant General Luong Dinh Hong reported the results of the project at the meeting.

Based on the theoretical system, the topic analyzed and evaluated the current situation, pointed out the results achieved, limitations and causes; identified a number of issues that need to be solved in theory and practice to improve the capacity of staff on building the national defense posture of the Vietnam People's Army's campaign and strategy staff; at the same time, forecasted the influencing factors, determined the requirements and proposed a system of synchronous, comprehensive and feasible solutions with a solid scientific basis. The recommendations and proposals of the Topic Management Board were basically suitable for the research object and scope of the topic. The Council evaluated and accepted the research results of the topic with Excellent.

Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested the Project Management Board to fully and seriously absorb the opinions of the council members; in which, pay attention to perfecting the issues raised on the capacity to advise on building the national defense posture of the campaign and strategy staff to ensure persuasiveness and reliability; focus on analyzing and explaining more deeply the key and breakthrough solutions, ensuring persuasiveness and feasibility in applying the research results of the project into practice. Clearly identify recommendations for agencies, units, ministries, branches, localities and plans to apply the research results of the project into practice.
