A 15-year-old boy was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in the Swedish capital Stockholm on June 10.
According to local police, the motive for the incident has not yet been determined.
Police responded to a report of a shooting near a square in southern Stockholm early in the evening local time, and found two people with gunshot wounds at the scene, Stockholm police spokesman Towe Hagg said in a statement.
Nearby, police also found two other injured people. One teenage boy died, while the others were taken to hospital.
The police statement also said the remaining injured included a 15-year-old boy, a man and a woman aged between 45 and 65.
Two men were arrested after being chased for about an hour after the shooting. Police are investigating the case as murder and attempted murder.
On June 9, three other people were also injured in two separate shootings in the Stockholm area.
According to police data, in 2022, Sweden recorded 391 shootings, of which 62 resulted in fatalities./.
