Actively practicing performing arts for the opening of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024

On November 26, at Gia Lam Airport, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, inspected the training work and encouraged the forces participating in the joint performance training session at the Opening Ceremony, which will take place on December 19, 2024.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan and delegates of the working delegation visited the art performance training program of the forces.

The art performance will be attended by more than 1,600 officers, soldiers and actors from many agencies and units and will officially perform at the Opening Ceremony. The art performance at the Exhibition Opening Ceremony will be staged, expressing the cultural identity of the country, the Vietnamese people, and the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army with the theme "Peace, cooperation, and development together".

Recently, relevant agencies and units have organized training and practical exercises at Gia Lam Airport on schedule. The art program at the opening of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is large-scale, the performances are elaborately and magnificently staged, and the highlight is the first performance by the Military Dog force.

Acknowledging and praising the forces that have proactively overcome all difficulties to organize training to ensure the schedule according to plan, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan emphasized: Along with these performances are performances by the Air Force and displays of weapons and equipment produced by the Vietnam Defense Industry and weapons and equipment products from countries around the world converging at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 to convey Vietnam's message to the world that it is a self-defense national defense, for peace, cooperation and development of the world.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan requested that units continue to focus on training, promptly correct shortcomings in joint training, ensure quality, progress and absolute safety for the forces, ensure quality, and be determined to bring an impressive artistic performance at the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition./.
