According to Dr. Xuan Ba, the group self-developed an algorithm to estimate the drone's payload through the container's turbulence mechanism. The turbulence parameters are sent to the central controller to calculate the current payload and adjust the appropriate energy consumption level. This helps the drone operate stably and safely when the payload changes.
"Integrating this algorithm will eliminate the complex sensors and electrical systems on the drone, increasing the flexibility and stability of the system, and reducing costs," said Dr. Xuan Ba. However, he said that this algorithm requires people with experience and expertise to adjust the appropriate parameters. The group is aiming to simplify it so that non-experts can still set the parameters.
