Received 39 citizens returned from Cambodia

On July 17, the Ha Tien International Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with relevant authorities to receive 39 Vietnamese citizens from the PrekChak International Border Guard Station (Kingdom of Cambodia).

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tan Duong, Chief of the Border Guard Station at Ha Tien International Border Gate and Colonel Bun Pich Narot, Deputy Chief of the Police Station at Prek Chak International Border Gate (Kingdom of Cambodia) signed the minutes of receiving citizens.

After receiving citizens, the Border Guard Station of Ha Tien International Border Gate ( An Giang province) presided over and coordinated with relevant functional forces to screen, investigate, verify and handle according to the provisions of law.

At the same time, raise awareness of the law among citizens, do not listen to the enticements of scammers on social networks; should look for jobs at reputable job placement centers with full legal procedures according to the law.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tan Duong, Head of the Ha Tien International Border Gate Border Guard Station, said that since the beginning of 2025, the unit has presided over the reception of 11 batches of 297 Vietnamese citizens illegally entering, residing, and working in Cambodia.

Through the process of coordinating with functional agencies to screen and classify subjects, the unit discovered 1 subject wanted for murder, 1 subject wanted for disturbing public order and 1 subject wanted for involvement in a case of illegal drug trafficking.
