Giving life to a Raglai child

BTO-On the morning of May 28, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - President of the Red Cross Society of Binh Thuan province visited, encouraged and presented 20 million VND from the support fund of Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation to the family of Mang Van Toan, 2 months old, residing in village 1, Ham Can commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province.

Mr. Mang Van Diep - Toan's father said: He was born on March 15, 2025, when he was 1 month old, he had to fight with illness, he had fetal peritonitis and was taken to Children's Hospital 3 - Ho Chi Minh City for treatment. Although he had surgery, his condition did not improve, continued to worsen, he had a blood infection and had to have an artificial anus installed. Meanwhile, the family is a near-poor household, Toan had just been born and did not have a health insurance card. The treatment was long, took a lot of time and cost a lot of money, the family did not have the conditions to treat him.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - President of the Provincial Red Cross Association, presented support money to Mang Van Toan's family.

Mr. Diep and his wife do not have stable jobs, mainly working as hired laborers on the farm. Now Mr. Diep has to stay home to look after his two children. Toan's mother had to quit her job to take care of Toan who is being treated at the Children's Hospital.

Through the connection of the Provincial Red Cross, the support from Thien Tam Fund was given directly to the family, contributing to sharing the treatment costs for Toan.
