Continue to fight against fake drugs, fake milk, fake health foods

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued an urgent dispatch assigning responsibility to the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Steering Committee 389, the Provincial Police, the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies and units to urgently deploy the fight against counterfeit drugs, fake milk, and fake health protection foods in the province according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health in Official Dispatch No. 2936, dated May 15, 2025.

According to Official Dispatch No. 2936, the Ministry of Health requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to continue to strictly, resolutely, effectively, and closely follow the requirements and directions of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 41 and Official Dispatch No. 55 (issued in May). In particular, directing competent agencies to organize peak periods of general review and inspection of compliance with the law on pharmaceuticals and food safety for establishments trading in medicines and health protection foods in the area, and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
