Hai Ha district mobilized more than 1,000 people and a team of divers to search for the two missing victims.

Hai Ha District mobilized a total force of more than 1,000 people including police, soldiers, militia, local officials and residents to join the search along both sides of the river and downstream areas. In particular, a team of professional divers was also reinforced to support the search under the stream, where the terrain is difficult and the water is still flowing rapidly.

At present, the river water has begun to recede, the water is clearer, creating more favorable conditions for the search. Authorities are still racing against time, with the highest determination to soon find the missing victims.

Present at the scene, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, closely directed the rescue work, requiring maximum mobilization of means and human resources, ensuring safety for the search force.
