Continue to focus on developing eco-tourism

This was emphasized by comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, when visiting and surveying the Suoi Coc homestay experience tourism area in Phuc Tien hamlet, Phuc Triu commune (Thai Nguyen city) on November 17. Accompanying him were comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of Thai Nguyen city.

Suoi Coc homestay has an area of about 1 hectare, 500m from the main dam of Nui Coc lake. The facility is designed in a way that is close to nature, with many trees. The project is invested by Minh Tan Land and Bao Minh Company, starting construction in 2023, officially coming into operation in June 2024.

Up to this point, Suoi Coc homestay has completed phase 1 of the project, including community houses with traditional architecture combined with bungalows close to nature, creating an ideal space for experiential tourism activities and community activities.

Visiting and experiencing the space here, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed: Developing homestay tourism services has become an effective direction, contributing to increasing income for people, promoting the image of Thai Nguyen land and people to domestic and international tourists.

Thai Nguyen province has issued many policies and mechanisms to support the development of community tourism and homestay, supporting localities and people at tourist destinations to invest in infrastructure, technical facilities; training and fostering human resources as well as promoting and advertising tourism products.

To continue promoting the development of this type of tourism in the province in general and Thai Nguyen City in particular, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue to pay attention, guide, support and create all conditions to replicate homestay models in suitable and strong places, on the basis of ensuring compliance with the provincial planning and land use planning approved by competent authorities. Thereby continuing to promote eco-tourism and community tourism in the coming time.
