Special revelation about the "appearance" of the late Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien in the art night of gratitude "The songs remain forever"

Over the past few days, the artists attending the special art night to pay tribute to Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien "Loi ca con mai" (The Songs Still Last) have been actively practicing to best prepare for the performance at 8:00 p.m. on November 16. All of them wish to respectfully offer their teacher, the respected artist - Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien - the most beautiful melodies, expressing their feelings and gratitude to the "architect" of Vietnamese vocal music, who has guided many generations of artists to fame.

Held on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day 2025, the program also carries a message of gratitude and appreciation to teachers, those who have silently sowed seeds, opened up wisdom, inspired and supported every step of the students. At the same time, it is also a reminder of the morality of "respecting teachers", a beautiful value in Vietnamese culture.

According to the Organizing Committee, the program is now ready after a week of rehearsal and stage construction. “The Songs Will Last Forever” is produced by the Vocal Department - Vietnam National Academy of Music with elaborate investment, modern stage, sound and lighting systems, promising to bring an artistic night that is not only professional but also visually pleasing.

The program's content is divided into 3 parts: The Origin of Academic Vocal Music, Revolutionary Music Stream and Romantic - Contemporary Music Stream. These three contents depict the entire career and great contributions of Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien to the country's music; as well as the role of "architect" in teaching and training Vietnamese vocal music; at the same time honoring the continuation of his legacy through generations of talented artists today. Interspersed between the performances are precious documentary films, recreating the image of a simple, dedicated teacher, who goes to work early and comes home late, always devoted to art and students.

According to Dr., Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Head of Vocal Department, General Director of the program, Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien will have a special "appearance" in the show.

Previously, Dr. People's Artist Quoc Hung, Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, revealed the much-anticipated trio performance between the late Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien, People's Artist Quang Tho and People's Artist Quoc Hung on stage. In addition, the "return" of Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien with generations of students from heaven will bring emotional moments of reunion.

Doctor, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan said that the late Professor, People's Artist Trung Kien will also appear in other special positions in the program.

The special art program “The Songs Remain Forever” brings together Vietnam’s leading artists - the excellent students of Professor, People’s Artist Trung Kien, such as: People’s Artist Quang Tho, PhD, People’s Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga, Meritorious Artist Phuong Uyen... and singers Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Bich Thuy, Bich Hong, Phuc Tiep, Le Anh Dung, Nguyen Vu, Khanh Ly, Quang Tu, Manh Hoach, Thu Hang, Huong Ly, Minh Tuyen, Thang Long...
