Tieu Vy, 22 years old, said she gave her parents a house in Quang Nam with money she saved after 5 years in showbiz.
On June 5, Tieu Vy returned to her hometown in Hoi An, gathering with her family in the house she had just bought. She said: "This year marks my journey into showbiz after being crowned Miss Vietnam 2018. I gave gifts to my parents to thank them for giving birth to me and raising me." She did not disclose the value of the house and related information.

Tieu Vy has invited her parents to Ho Chi Minh City - where she lives and works - many times to take care of her. However, both of them refused because they love the peaceful atmosphere in Hoi An. The beauty queen said: "For many years, my parents have been renting a house in the countryside - something that has always bothered me. Therefore, I try to work hard and plan to buy a house soon." Tieu Vy hopes her parents will feel secure when they see their daughter grow up.
Miss Vietnam 2018 has been working as a brand ambassador, fashion model, and actress for many years. "I am not afraid of hardship, I am ready to accept any job opportunity. I can start working from early morning until late at night, rain or shine, I always try to fulfill my role," she said.
5 years in showbiz is not long but it is enough for her to be strong and responsible for all decisions. Tieu Vy admits that the time from the time she was first crowned until the end of her term was the most difficult because she had to face many criticisms from the public. She knows her own limitations are her bland way of speaking and her lack of individuality. However, after going through the challenges, she is now more confident.
Although they don't live close to each other, she and her mother talk online every day. When she has free time, her mother visits Ho Chi Minh City and cooks her home-cooked meals. The beauty said: "For me, family has great spiritual significance. When I'm tired or under pressure, I just need to go home and hug my parents to release all the negative energy and gain more motivation to strive."

What parents care about in a beauty queen is love. She said: "My parents hope to have a son-in-law soon, hope their daughter finds a man who can share her joys and sorrows. I often tell them that this is all fate, and besides, I'm still young and want to prioritize my career."
The beauty queen's full name is Tran Tieu Vy , born in 2000, from Quang Nam. Two months after being crowned Miss Vietnam 2018, she competed in Miss World, stopping at the Top 30. In October 2022, the beauty graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. At the beginning of the year, she was honored as Beauty of the Year at the Star of the Year award organized by Ngoi Sao newspaper. Tieu Vy is currently a beauty in demand on the catwalk, serving as a judge for Miss Vietnam 2022 and Miss World Vietnam 2023.
