Search for young man suspected missing while climbing mountain in Nha Trang

On the morning of August 6, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward (Khanh Hoa Province), said that the authorities are urgently searching for a young man suspected of being missing while climbing Hoang Nguu Son Mountain since the evening of August 4 and has yet to be found.

According to initial information, on August 4, a young man named C. parked his motorbike at 79C Do Xuan Hop Street (Nam Nha Trang Ward) and then went up Hoang Nguu Son Mountain alone. However, from 6 p.m. on the same day, his family lost contact with C. and did not see him return down the mountain.

On August 5, some residents and friends organized a search but to no avail. C.'s phone kept ringing but no one answered.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire Police and Rescue Force of Khanh Hoa Province Police, local security forces, along with a number of mountain climbing experts and family members searched all night from August 5 to 24 hours but still found no clues.

The search is still ongoing.
