Business news - Zalopay accompanies the program "Spring Bus" 2025

On December 17, 2024, Zalopay officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Lao Dong Newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC Labor Federation), jointly organizing the "Spring Bus Trip" program 2025. This meaningful program will support 400 bus tickets for union members and disadvantaged workers to return home for the Lunar New Year.

Through the Zalopay application donation portal, benefactors can contribute to the program "Helping each other go home". The goal of the Organizing Committee is to raise 600 million VND by January 16, 2025 to support 100 elderly people, children, and pregnant mothers far from home of the Crescent Moon Fund, and at the same time coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to organize many free bus trips for workers and poor laborers to return to their hometowns.

As of 10:00 a.m. on January 7, 2025, the amount of donations recorded on the Zalopay application has reached nearly 420 million VND with more than 35,000 contributions from the community.

Instructions for donating to the program "Help each other go home" via Zalopay

The buses returning home are expected to depart on January 26, 2025 (December 27 of the Lunar calendar), from Ho Chi Minh City to the Central provinces such as Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam , Da Nang and Thanh Hoa.

Ms. Le Lan Chi, CEO of Zalopay, shared at the signing ceremony : “Zalopay believes that technology not only serves life but also needs to be associated with social responsibility to create sustainable values. That is how Zalopay wants to contribute to building an increasingly better community.”

Previously, Zalopay has accompanied many units and organizations in meaningful community-oriented projects. Typically, in September 2024, Zalopay accompanied the Lao Dong Newspaper to receive contributions from people across the country for the project "Supporting people affected by storm No. 3". The program recorded nearly 3 billion VND in donations after just one month, becoming a vivid proof of the power of technology in mobilizing social resources.

This is not only a meaningful sharing during Tet but also contributes to promoting the digital transformation program of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, Zalopay is also a companion for 2 consecutive years with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation at the program "Workers' Festival - Charity Fair" with the theme "Encouraging cashless payments". The 2024 Tet Giap Thin Charity Fair is the first event to deploy the "0 VND gift voucher" solution and will continue to be applied at the 2025 Tet At Ty Charity Fair. Donation: 500,000,000 VND to give 400 Tet bus tickets to workers in difficult circumstances who have not been able to return home for 2 consecutive years.
Reception period: from December 13, 2024 to January 16, 2025.
