In the Central Highlands region, pepper prices in Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Dak Nong provinces remained at 158,000 VND/kg and 157,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Meanwhile, in the Southeast region, pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc also remained at 157,000 VND/kg, showing general stability in the market. In general, the pepper market is showing signs of balance, reflecting stable demand and supply in recent times.

News, forecast of pepper price tomorrow 4/4/2025 continues to move sideways

Pepper prices on April 4, 2025 are expected to increase slightly in the domestic market, while the international market remains stable with some minor fluctuations.

In Vietnam, pepper prices are forecast to increase by VND200-300/kg, fluctuating between VND157,200-158,300/kg. Specifically, Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces are expected to reach VND158,300/kg, an increase of VND300/kg. Meanwhile, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc and Gia Lai provinces are expected to reach VND157,200/kg, an increase of VND200/kg.

In the international market, pepper prices are expected to remain stable with some minor fluctuations. In Indonesia, Lampung black pepper prices were listed at USD 7,239/ton, while Muntok white pepper prices reached USD 10,066/ton. Malaysia continued to maintain high prices with ASTA black pepper at USD 9,900/ton and ASTA white pepper at USD 12,400/ton. Brazil recorded a slight decrease of USD 50/ton, currently purchasing price at USD 7,000/ton.

Vietnam's pepper export market remains stable at a high level, with the price of 500g/l black pepper reaching 7,100 USD/ton, 550g/l at 7,300 USD/ton and white pepper at 10,100 USD/ton. Overall, the global pepper market on April 4, 2025 is forecast to remain stable with some minor fluctuations by region.
