Man City received bad news from Haaland
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland will miss the rest of the season with a serious ankle injury. Haaland had bad luck in Man City's defeat of Bournemouth in the FA Cup quarter-finals on March 31.
Man City doctors said Haaland could only be fully fit by June - when the blue half of Manchester attends the FIFA Club World Cup in the US.
Haaland's absence for the rest of the season will be a big loss for Man City.
This season, although Haaland is not in great form, he still scored 21 goals, second only to Mohamed Salah (Liverpool).
For the rest of the season, Man City still has the goal of competing for a position in the top 5 to participate in the Champions League next season.
Without Haaland, things will be difficult for Man City - a team that has not played very impressively this season.

Chelsea recently decided to sell the women's team to the parent company for 200 million pounds. This is an internal transfer method for Chelsea to achieve the necessary profit, thereby avoiding the financial fair play law.
This is not the first time Chelsea has used this tactic. Last season, The Blues also took a similar action when they sold two hotels located on the Stamford Bridge grounds to the parent company.
Chelsea have now announced a pre-tax profit of £128.4 million and have not breached financial fair play rules.
