"Bac Son Love Song" brings folk music to schools

On the morning of September 25, the program "School Stage 2023" took place enthusiastically at Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.

The "Bac Son Love Songs" art troupe and Lac Long Quan Stage Club introduced folk music and some songs and excerpts from Vietnamese history to students of Hoang Van Thu Secondary School.

Participating in the program are artists: Ha Chau, Bich Thuy, Bich Phuong, Binh Chinh, Khanh Tuan, Hoang Dang Khoa... actors and singers: Hoang Trung Anh, Chau Nhat Tin, Truong Huy, Thu Thao, Yen Phuong, Yen Nhi, Ngoc Truc, Chi Cuong, Vuong Quynh Anh, Minh Tram, Trang Ngoc, Tuong Oanh, Huynh Tan Phuc, Le Huynh Bao Kiet... and members of Lac Long Quan Theater Club.

The program was warmly welcomed by the students, clapping and singing along with the singers to the folk songs that are familiar to the public. This shows that folk music brought to school still has an effect in helping to foster the love of national music in students.

On this occasion, artists Minh Thuy and Huong Thuy donated 12 million VND to Lac Long Quan Theatre Club to buy Mid-Autumn gifts for poor and studious students, and also gave gifts including books and notebooks to children of poor artists, those in difficult circumstances, and orphans on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.
