Faced with the severe damage caused by floods in Dak Lak province, in recent days, leaders of central ministries, branches, provinces, cities, units, businesses, and philanthropists have continued to visit, encourage, and support the people of Dak Lak province to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

On November 25, comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Justice; comrade Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province led a working delegation to visit and provide support to Dak Lak province to overcome the consequences of the historic flood that caused serious damage.
During the visit and working session, the delegation presented 5 billion VND mobilized by former members of the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee to support people affected by floods.
Also at the meeting, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, presented 10 billion VND to support Dak Lak province in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; and presented 1 billion VND to the families of provincial police officers; 1 billion VND to the families of soldiers of the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment; and 500 million VND to the families of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command affected by storms and floods.

Comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh and Comrade Vu Hong Van sent their condolences and shared the difficulties with the people of Dak Lak province who have just experienced heavy floods, which have deeply affected their lives, production and social security. At the same time, they expressed their sympathy and hoped that the support would help people stabilize their lives soon after the floods.
For Dong Nai province, along with financial support, the province also mobilized nearly 300 cadres, medical staff and volunteers to support Dak Lak province in overcoming the consequences of floods . This joint effort demonstrates solidarity, contributing to adding confidence and motivation to help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
On the afternoon of November 25, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support households that suffered heavy losses due to floods in Hoa Son commune, Dak Lak province. Also attending the working delegation were Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province Y Giang Ry Nie Knong...

In Hoa Son commune, comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh presented 10 gifts, each worth 3 million VND, to support households that suffered heavy losses due to floods. Comrade Nguyen Hai Ninh kindly inquired about the health and life of the people and encouraged them to make efforts to overcome difficulties, quickly restore production and stabilize after the natural disaster.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province presented 10 gifts to support households severely affected by floods and heavy rains.
Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also gave special gifts to the families to encourage them to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Touched by the support, the family representatives expressed their deep gratitude to Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh and the provincial leaders and the working delegation. The family representatives said that the timely attention, encouragement and sharing of the leaders of ministries, branches and the province, along with agencies, units and philanthropists in difficult times not only helped them reduce material difficulties but also added confidence and motivation to gradually stabilize their lives.
The working delegation requested the Hoa Son commune authorities to continue to review the damage, deploy timely support measures, and ensure social security for people affected by floods.

Also on the afternoon of November 25, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union led by Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Student Association, visited the victims' families and provided necessities to people in the flood-hit areas in the east of Dak Lak province.
The Central Youth Union delegation presented financial support to two families whose members died due to floods, including the family of Ms. Vo Thi Ut, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dan Phu 2 residential area, Song Cau ward (house collapsed) and the family of two brothers, Mr. Tran Ngoc Nhan and Tran Thuong in Phong Hanh village, Tuy An Bac commune, who saved their old mother from the floodwaters, each family received 10 million VND; 1,000 social security bags for people in Tuy An Bac and Tuy An Dong communes; and 5 million VND in support for the youth volunteer team.

At the families he visited, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet shared the losses of the two families whose members died in the floods. Mr. Triet advised the relatives of those who died in the floods to overcome the pain and move on.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duong, 49 years old, residing in Tuy An Bac commune, expressed his gratitude for receiving support from the Central Youth Union for necessities after the flood. “All the furniture in the house was damaged. We are farmers so life is very difficult. Now that I have received support for necessities, I don’t know what else to say other than thank you to the Central Youth Union,” Mr. Nguyen Van Duong confided.

After the gift giving ceremony, the Central Youth Union delegation continued to encourage union members and young volunteers to help people restore their lives after the flood.
On the same day, a working delegation of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command led by Colonel Do Quang Tham, Deputy Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, visited areas in Dong Hoa ward, Dak Lak province to visit, encourage and give gifts to support people severely affected by floods.

In Phuoc Giang village and Phuoc Luong quarter, the working group presented more than 1,000 essential gifts to support households. The group directly visited Ms. Dao Thi Nang, residing in Phuoc Giang village, one of the most severely damaged cases due to the flood.
Due to severe damage to her house, Ms. Nang is currently taking temporary shelter at the village’s flood and storm prevention point. On behalf of the working group, Colonel Do Quang Tham kindly asked about her and encouraged her, and said that the Border Guard will continue to accompany and support the people until their lives return to normal.
In addition, officers and soldiers of the Vung Ro Port Border Guard Station and reinforcements of the Provincial Border Guard Command organized cleaning, sanitation and disinfection of flooded areas, to ensure a safe living environment, contributing to helping flood-affected households soon stabilize their spirits and lives.

This activity not only supports people materially but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility and sharing of the Border Guards with the people in the flood areas. Thereby, it clearly demonstrates the role of the Border Guards in accompanying the locality, joining hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, helping people to soon stabilize their lives and rebuild their homes after the flood.
According to Nhan Dan Newspaper reporters, from the first days of this particularly serious flood until now, in all flooded communes and wards of Dak Lak province, Party and State leaders, directly the Deputy Prime Ministers, have promptly returned to inspect, direct response and overcome the consequences of the flood.

Leaders from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to ministries, branches, central organizations, Military Region 5, provinces, cities, along with numerous agencies, units, philanthropists and people across the country visited, encouraged and provided relief with thousands of tons of food and tens of billions of VND, helping people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
In particular, for Dak Lak province, from the highest leader, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, to the Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of departments, branches, armed forces and localities are always present in the flood-hit areas regardless of day or night, rain or wind, directing the work of responding to floods, providing relief and rescue, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, and overcoming the consequences of floods...

The timely presence and efforts of leaders from the Central to grassroots levels, units, businesses, philanthropists and people across the country towards the flood-hit areas of Dak Lak are not only a responsibility, comradeship, and compatriotism in times of trouble, but also a command from the heart of every Vietnamese citizen to join hands to help people in flood-hit areas overcome all difficulties and hardships, stabilize their lives and rise up after natural disasters.
