At the meeting, the delegation was quickly informed about the socio -economic situation; mechanisms, preferential policies, and investment attraction projects of Lao Cai province. In particular, the province encourages investment attraction in 4 pillars, including: border gate economy, industry, tourism, agriculture. At the same time, the province also has many incentives and supports for businesses to invest in other fields such as health, education, vocational training, environment, culture, sports, etc.

Representatives of enterprises under the Vietnam Family Business Council highly appreciated the province's preferential policies and investment attraction; at the same time, expressed their desire to continue to learn more information and research to be able to invest in a number of areas such as: border gate economy, logistics, education, agriculture , tourism, processing industry, social housing, international schools, golf courses, etc. The two sides also exchanged, proposed opinions, and clarified issues related to attracting investment and creating conditions for business operations.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong (photo above) affirmed: Lao Cai Province will actively coordinate with the Vietnam Family Business Council to provide complete and accurate information, creating maximum conditions for investors to come and explore cooperation, production and business opportunities in Lao Cai, for the development of the province as well as of enterprises./.
