Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee approves project to rearrange administrative units at all levels

In the first months of the year, the province has focused on leading and implementing well the contents and tasks of organizing party congresses at all levels. The implementation of socio -economic development tasks has been focused on.

Some outstanding results are: budget revenue reached 627.7 billion VND, reaching 27.8% of the plan assigned by the Central Government; total social investment capital is estimated at more than 3,120 billion VND, up 7.5% over the same period in 2024; the number of tourists reached nearly 850 thousand people; construction of more than 3,100 houses was started, and more than 2,000 houses were completed and put into use under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

At the conference, comrade Phan Huy Ngoc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province, presented a proposal to the Executive Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee to issue a resolution on the arrangement of administrative units at all levels.

Accordingly, the project to arrange provincial-level administrative units: establish Tuyen Quang province on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces; the political and administrative center is in Tuyen Quang city. Regarding the project to arrange commune-level administrative units, the total number of commune-level administrative units after the arrangement is 73 units, including 2 wards and 71 communes.

The province has asked for people's opinions on the arrangement of administrative units at all levels, and people agreed with the plans to arrange administrative units at the provincial and communal levels.

Next is the proposal to issue a Resolution to merge Ha Giang Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station. Accordingly, the new name is Ha Giang Newspaper under the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee; the organizational structure includes 1 Editorial Board and 9 affiliated departments.

Delegates approved the project on the arrangement of administrative units at all levels.

After listening to the reports and discussions in the hall, 100% of the delegates voted to approve the project on the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and the project to merge Ha Giang Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that 2025 is of special importance, being the final year of implementing the resolution and implementing many major policies of the Party and State, marking the rise of the nation. Therefore, it requires the Provincial Party Committee to have fundamental solutions both in the short and long term.

It is recommended that Party committees and organizations at all levels strictly grasp the principles and requirements and effectively implement the tasks and solutions on building and perfecting the organizational apparatus of the political system. Clearly and comprehensively understand the Party's policies, decisions and directions in the current period as being of historical significance, thereby strengthening leadership and direction to effectively implement political and ideological work, creating solidarity, unity, enhancing political determination among cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees and workers, creating consensus in society on implementing the Party's major policies and directions.

In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to leading and directing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, especially removing bottlenecks in disbursing public investment capital, budget collection, social security work, and eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses,” emphasized Ha Giang Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh.

Along with that, Party committees at all levels also need to focus on directing the preparation and organization of Party congresses at all levels. Innovate the work of grasping public opinion and mobilizing people to create consensus in implementing major policies of the Party and State.
