* Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions gives 700 gifts to Khmer people

(BL-NQ) The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu province have just sent a letter of congratulations on the 2025 Chol-chnam-thmay New Year to the Khmer ethnic people.

In the letter, the provincial leaders cordially sent their best regards and New Year wishes to the people, comrades, cadres, soldiers, Khmer monks in the province and the Khmer people of Bac Lieu who are working, studying and living far from their homeland.

Reviewing the achievements in socio -economic development, national defense - security and foreign affairs of the province in 2024, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province acknowledged and commended the important contributions of monks, cadres, soldiers and Khmer people.

2025 is the year of Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, and is also the year in which the province must both accelerate the implementation of the tasks, goals, and targets of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time, must arrange and streamline the organization of the political system. Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province call on the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army, monks, Khmer people of the province, the business community, and the children of Bac Lieu who are living, studying, and working inside and outside the province to unite, join hands, and be of one mind, to develop Bac Lieu into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland; together with the whole country, enter a new era of development, an era of national growth.

* Also on the occasion of Chol-chnam-thmay, from April 2 to 8, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Bac Lieu gave 700 gifts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged Khmer households in Bac Lieu City, Gia Rai Town, and 5 districts in the province.
