Discussion and meeting with National Assembly delegates of Quang Tri province through the periods

This morning, June 22, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province held a discussion and met with National Assembly Deputies of Quang Tri province through the periods to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam, January 6 (1946 - 2026). Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung; Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam; Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province Dao Manh Hung; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; National Assembly Deputies of Quang Tri province through the periods attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang expressed his deepest gratitude to generations of National Assembly Deputies who have devoted their efforts to the growth of the National Assembly , to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation and the heroic homeland of Quang Tri. At the same time, he emphasized that over the past 8 decades of formation and development, the Vietnamese National Assembly has continuously grown, affirming its role as the highest State power agency, representing the will, aspirations and mastery of the People.

Along with the continuous development of the National Assembly nationwide, in 15 National Assembly terms, Quang Tri has had 111 delegates representing the voice and aspirations of the people. Typical examples include: General Secretary Le Duan participating in 6 National Assembly terms (from term II to term VII), Deputy Prime Minister Tran Huu Duc participating in 7 terms (from term I to term VII), Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers Tran Quynh participating in 7 terms (from term I to term VII), Minister and Head of the Office of the Council of Ministers Dang Thi participating in 8 terms (from term I to term VIII)...

Deputy Head of the Delegation in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang affirmed: The Quang Tri Provincial National Assembly Delegation during the 15th National Assembly term (2021 - 2026) has also made constant efforts and made positive and strong contributions to the activities of the National Assembly, making an important contribution to the glorious achievements of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

At the same time, it is a bridge to bring the aspirations, people's hearts, and wishes of provincial leaders to the National Assembly, the Government, and central ministries and branches to propose policies, strategies, and resources to promote the development of Quang Tri province.

At the seminar, generations of provincial National Assembly deputies through the periods reviewed together the achievements and great contributions of generations of provincial National Assembly deputies; the glorious history and heroic tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly. At the same time, they shared and expressed their wishes and hopes for the innovation and efforts of the National Assembly Delegation in the coming time.

Many opinions expressed their expectations and trust in the constant change and development, the National Assembly will always be a symbol of the power of the People and the great national unity bloc; a place where voters and the People can send their thoughts, feelings and legitimate aspirations.

Respectfully acknowledging and appreciating the great, emotional and responsible contributions of the National Assembly Deputies, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang affirmed: The long journey of 80 years of glory and pride has clearly demonstrated the maturity, dedication and sense of responsibility of the National Assembly Deputies through the generations.

Each term of the National Assembly, each moment bears the mark of the delegates, those who are worthy representatives of the voice and aspirations of the People and also those who carry out important missions in the highest authority of the State.

Faced with the increasing demands of innovation, integration and development, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang hopes that the National Assembly and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to innovate their thinking, improve their intelligence; enhance their mettle and responsibility for the people in the activities of each National Assembly Delegate and the National Assembly Delegation.

Thereby, the position and role of the National Assembly in performing the functions of constitution-making, legislation, supreme supervision and deciding on important issues of the country will be promoted to the best of its ability. In particular, it will focus on further improving the quality of National Assembly deputies, considering this a decisive factor in improving the quality of the implementation of the functions, tasks and powers of the National Assembly.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 6 individuals for their achievements in performing the duties of the XV National Assembly Delegation, term 2021-2026 and 8 individuals for their achievements in advising on the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, term 2021-2026.
