The art program "Song of Victory" is organized to honor humanistic values and spread the message of peace in the world , especially the friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Previously, at the invitation of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense sent forces to participate in the Parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the Russian Federation.
This is the first time the Vietnam People's Army delegation has participated in a parade abroad. The delegation consists of about 80 members, of which 68 soldiers are students of the Army Officer School 1, who will participate in the parade, along with reserve members, leaders in charge, training instructors, doctors, interpreters and security officers.
The team arrived in Russia on the night of April 24 and started high-intensity training on April 25.

On May 2, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that from May 5 to 12, General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and an official visit to Russia to attend the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia. The two countries established a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2012. Trade between the two countries in 2024 reached nearly 4.6 billion USD. Security and defense cooperation is promoted in many directions and diverse aspects, being a pillar in bilateral relations.
From June 19 to 20, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin paid a state visit to Vietnam. The visit created a new impetus for multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.
Through the Joint Statement, 11 signed cooperation documents and meetings and exchanges between high-ranking leaders of the two countries, the two sides agreed on major orientations to deepen the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in many aspects.
