The General Secretary attended the national conference to disseminate the implementation of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

On November 15, at the Dien Hong Conference Room of the National Assembly, the National Election Council held a national conference to disseminate the Politburo's Directive and deploy the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in a combination of direct and online forms to provincial and commune-level bridges of 34 provinces and cities nationwide.

Also attending the conference were: President Luong Cuong; Member Politburo, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung; Politburo member, Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Toward   The National Election Council includes: Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly, Chairman of the National Election Council Tran Thanh Man; Member Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council Do Van Chien. Vice Chairmen of the National Election Council include: Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Party Central Committee member, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

According to the conference agenda, delegates will listen to representatives of agencies present documents including: Directive of the Politburo on leading the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Instructions of the Central Organizing Committee on personnel work for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Directive of the Prime Minister on organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Procedures for steps of consultation, selection, introduction of candidates for National Assembly deputies, candidates for People's Council deputies and organization of conferences to collect voters' opinions; Instructions on professional work of organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Plan of the National Election Council on implementing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The national conference to disseminate the Politburo's Directive on the implementation of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is of great significance; thereby, creating   high unity of awareness, political ideology and action in the entire political system; at the same time, creating consensus in society, contributing to the successful organization of the election to ensure democracy, equality, legality, safety, economy and truly a festival for all people; strengthening the people's trust in the Party, the State and the country's innovation cause.
