On the morning of May 29, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam, Head of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee's Standing Committee. The meeting aimed to review and evaluate the results achieved, barriers and bottlenecks; and directions and tasks for the coming time.

The meeting listened to the leaders of the Party Central Office report on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in the first months of 2025, initial results and barriers and bottlenecks that need to be focused on removing. The leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology reported on strategic technology categories. The members of the Steering Committee discussed and contributed many important opinions.
