Within the framework of the official visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on the morning of October 30, in London, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between ministries, branches, government agencies, localities, corporations and enterprises at the Vietnam-UK High-Level Economic Conference.

Agreements between ministries, branches, agencies and the Government include: Agreement on cooperation and mutual administrative support in the customs sector; Cooperation in developing green finance; Cooperation in providing capital for key projects in Vietnam; Cooperation in developing the International Financial Center; Cooperation in the field of international bond issuance; Cooperation agreement on clean energy; Memorandum of Understanding on product safety; Cooperation on clean energy and grid conversion; Partnership framework for disaster risk reduction; Agreement on implementing the technical assistance project "sustainable transformation, adaptation to climate change and oceans".

Cooperation agreements between localities and international organizations include: Friendly cooperation between two cities ( Ho Chi Minh City and Liverpool City); Investment registration certificate for the Castrol Gogoro Mobility joint venture project in the field of electric motorbikes in Vietnam; Cooperation in research and construction of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities at Van Don airport; Cooperation in design and production of satellites in Vietnam.

Cooperation agreements between corporations and enterprises include: Cooperation in financing export credit for renewable energy projects of PVN and its member units; Supporting British medical experts of Facing the World Organization to carry out charity programs in Vietnam and providing training programs for doctors of partner hospitals of Facing the World Organization; Cooperation in sharing experiences and supporting performance exchanges and artist groups; Contract to purchase 100 A321neo aircraft with the option to purchase 50 more aircraft worth 25 billion USD; Contract to provide maintenance services and Rolls-Royce Trent 7,000 backup engines for Vietjet's A330neo fleet worth 3.8 billion USD;

Comprehensive strategic cooperation to improve access to new drugs, clinical trial research and transfer of practical knowledge in vaccine production (worth £500 million); Training cooperation to support Vietnamese experts in applying international financial reporting standards (IFRS);

Cooperation on: developing an integrated English model in schools, applying AI technology for computer-based exams for high school exams and integrating AI in the curriculum; Cooperation to establish cooperation to establish franchised international boarding schools bearing the name, brand, spirit and expertise of Ardingly College in Vietnam;

Cooperate to leverage FPT's digital capabilities and advanced artificial intelligence solutions to promote Chelsea's comprehensive digital transformation, including digital platforms, fan engagement, business operations and new technologies; Cooperate in research and development of seaport, airport, logistics and integrated industry complexes; Cooperate in research and development of seaport, airport, logistics and integrated industry complexes; Cooperate in business on natural flavors, green chemical development; Share information and experience in lottery business operations.

General Secretary To Lam's official visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is expected to create new breakthroughs in cooperation between the two countries, especially in areas with potential and complementary strengths. Thereby, it will contribute to effectively implementing the Politburo's key resolutions on science-technology development and innovation, promoting deep and comprehensive international integration, perfecting institutions, developing the private economic sector, promoting education and training, caring for and improving people's health, ensuring national energy security, in line with Vietnam's vision for sustainable development and long-term strategy, towards a new era of dynamic and creative development.
