
This year's tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong in coordination with the Vietnam Rowing Federation, attracting 467 athletes from 22 provinces and cities across the country.
At the National U19 and U23 Rowing Championship, athletes competed in 29 sets of medals, in 2 age groups U19 and U23, for both men and women and mixed men and women, distance 2,000m.
In this event, the Hai Phong rowing team won first place overall with 8 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal; second place overall was Ho Chi Minh City with 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals; the Hanoi team ranked third overall with 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

Competing in the 2025 National Canoeing Championship Cup, athletes will compete for 46 sets of medals in men's, women's and mixed-gender events, with distances of 1,000m, 500m and 200m, for Canoe and Kayak.
The host team Hai Phong won 14 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals to take first place overall; Ho Chi Minh City ranked second with 13 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 18 bronze medals; the Quang Ninh rowing team ranked third with 7 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 12 bronze medals.
The National U19 and U23 Rowing Championship and the National Canoeing Championship Cup for Strong Teams in 2025 are important sports activities, contributing to promoting the movement of practicing and competing in water sports, especially among young people nationwide.
Through the tournaments, the Organizing Committee discovers, selects and trains potential athletes, adds strength to the national team, and prepares to participate in regional and international tournaments in the coming time.
