Lao Cai responds to information about student violence at school

Immediately after receiving the information, the homeroom teacher of class 8E and the families of the two students took T. to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1 for a health check. Currently, T. suffered soft tissue injuries and is in stable condition. Currently, D.'s father has taken D. to Yen Bai Ward Police to report the incident.

Quang Trung Secondary School has reported and provided full information related to students to Yen Bai Ward People's Committee, Internal Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police.

The Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province has requested the People's Committee of Yen Bai ward and the school to closely coordinate with the authorities to verify the incident; direct Quang Trung Secondary School to accompany and help T's family during the examination, treatment and health monitoring process; thoroughly educate all students in the school about civilized behavior with teachers and friends; continue to promote the implementation of solutions to strengthen educational coordination between family, school and society.

The cause of the incident is being further verified and investigated by the authorities.

Previously, many clips and images appeared on social networks showing that the male student used a weapon when committing the crime. A few minutes after being thrown into the water, the victim was luckily picked up by people with many wounds on his body. The victim was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
