Reporting at the working session, Colonel Bui Xuan Thang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, said that in 2024, the Binh Phuoc Police force will always proactively carry out the task of ensuring security and order. In particular, advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to lead, direct and mobilize the entire political system to participate, at the same time implementing the direction and orientation of the Ministry of Public Security, proactively and focused on deploying and implementing peak periods of attacking and suppressing crimes and social evils, ensuring traffic order and safety, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

Report to General Secretary To Lam, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh said that along with the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2024, the preparation and direction of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term must ensure the spirit of Directive No. 35 and the policies and directions of the Central Committee. The implementation of Resolution 18 on organizational restructuring has been concretized by the province through Project 999 of the Provincial Party Committee since 2018; the drastic implementation has been directed in recent years and achieved many positive results, while continuing to be implemented in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee.
General Secretary To Lam commended and highly appreciated the achievements that Binh Phuoc province as well as the province's armed forces have achieved in all aspects in recent times.
Regarding the development orientation of Binh Phuoc in the coming time, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the province should focus on promoting its advantages as an agricultural production area, focusing on implementing inter-regional transport connection projects, allocating breakthrough investment resources for education and health, and building a strong grassroots government to be able to immediately solve problems directly related to people's lives.

The General Secretary acknowledged the efforts of the provincial armed forces in closely following the locality, ensuring political security, domestic social order and safety and border security, creating a peaceful and stable environment for socio-economic development. In the coming time, the General Secretary requested the provincial police to continue to stay close to the locality and the people to maintain security and order. Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the province, the General Secretary will direct the Ministry of Transport, relevant ministries, branches and localities to study and invest in the traffic route connecting Binh Phuoc with Dong Nai to Long Thanh airport and seaports to create momentum for Binh Phuoc in particular and the Southern Central Highlands region to develop further.
The General Secretary expressed his belief that with its tradition and available potential advantages, Binh Phuoc will successfully implement and complete the targets and tasks set by the Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, bringing Binh Phuoc to increasingly rapid, sustainable and comprehensive development, and the people to increasingly have a prosperous, joyful and happy life.

| Mr. Duong Duc Thung, born in 1954, is from Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district, Cao Bang province. At the age of 17, he joined the army, fighting in battlefields from the Central region to the final destination of the Ho Chi Minh campaign, liberating Saigon. When the country was completely liberated, he continued to undertake international missions in neighboring Cambodia. In 1983, he was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In 1990, he was given a disability pension and settled down with his family in his new hometown of Binh Phuoc. |
