The Party in the Great Spring Victory was organized by the Ministry of Public Security to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification, while also looking forward to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Public Security sector (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

The Party in the great spring victory was impressive in its grandeur when leading singers such as People's Artist Quang Tho, Trung Duc, Thu Hien, Dang Duong, Vu Thang Loi, Viet Danh, Tung Duong, Lan Anh... sang revolutionary songs with the Sun Symphony Orchestra.

The program had many emotional moments like that and finally, the happiness of thousands of audiences exploded when the entire Ho Guom Theater auditorium was filled with the colors of the hammer and sickle flag, the red flag with yellow star, from the stage to the audience seats, along with the majestic and heroic melodies of the song "The Country is Full of Joy".

In the closing act of the program, young actors stood in the aisles of the theater auditorium waving flags and colorful flowers, while the audience held the Party flag, the national flag, and the half-red, half-blue flag of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam, recalling the atmosphere of "the country full of joy" of the day of total victory 50 years ago.

The background music of the song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the happy day of liberation" in the closing ceremony continued to extend the emotion, making thousands of spectators not want to leave.

Thu Hien, Trung Duc, Quang Tho impressive reunion with the audience

The Party in the Great Spring Victory also brought many emotions to the listeners, especially the elderly audience and veterans, when they met again the legendary voices of the past who walked along the Truong Son mountain range to sing for the soldiers and sang on the radio for the people to listen to, such as Thu Hien, Trung Duc, and Quang Tho.

People's Artist Thu Hien's voice, at the age of over 70, is still sweet and warm, her long, graceful hair and expressive eyes still make the audience surprised and touched.

When the artist sang Cau ho ben bo Hien Luong , the song that has been with her since its first release in 1957, following her to the battlefield and down to Vinh Moc tunnel, many audiences were moved to tears.

In the program, Dang Duong, Vu Thang Loi, and Viet Danh sang many revolutionary songs together, making the audience think of them as a second talented red music trio.

Besides, Le Anh Dung, Dong Hung, Bao Yen, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc... have contributed to creating a colorful musical picture, both heroic and lyrical.

In addition to the voices of leading singers of many generations, the accompaniment of the Sun Symphony Orchestra brought an impressive academic music space, elevating classic revolutionary songs.
