In the period of 2019 - 2025, the Provincial Women's Union actively coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs, the Vietnam Women's Academy and a number of related sectors to organize training courses to update membership management software and professional work of the association for 131 full-time officials at all levels; organized 50 training courses to improve professional work of the association, operational skills, and branch activities for more than 4,000 chairmen and vice chairmen of the Women's Union of communes, wards, and towns, branch heads and deputy branch heads of 6 districts, cities, and towns. Organized 72 training courses on knowledge and skills to propagate and disseminate gender equality laws; knowledge on parenting education, food hygiene and safety, prevention of gender-based domestic violence, prevention of accidents and injuries to children in the 4.0 period; knowledge on building a "Trusted address in the community" model... for 6,942 grassroots union officials; 6 training courses to improve knowledge of information technology application and digital transformation for 487 union officials at all levels... The Women's Union of districts, cities and towns opened 39 training courses on political theory and union work skills for more than 7,000 key grassroots officials and branch heads and deputy branch heads... Through the project, by March 2025, 100% of key union officials at the provincial, district and grassroots levels will meet the prescribed title standards; 100% of branch heads and deputy branch heads will receive annual training in union work and social work skills.
In the period of 2026 - 2031, the Women's Union will continue to strengthen coordination in organizing training courses on professional skills for the union, professional training according to job positions, knowledge and skills on gender, leadership and management skills for the team of full-time union officials at all levels, officials planning for the source of presidents, vice presidents, branch heads, and deputy branch heads of women's unions; coordinate with Party committees at all levels to compile statistics and evaluate the professional qualifications and professional skills of women's work of the reserve officials in the planning and key positions of the Women's Union at all levels for training and fostering according to the prescribed program.
By 2031, 100% of provincial-level Women's Union officials and civil servants will be trained in professional association work, specialized knowledge and skills according to job positions, knowledge and skills on gender, leadership and management skills; 100% of commune-level Women's Union presidents and at least 50% of those planned for the position of commune-level Women's Union president will be trained in professional association work, knowledge and skills on gender, leadership and management skills; 100% of commune-level Women's Union vice presidents will be trained in professional association work, knowledge and skills on gender, leadership and management skills; 100% of women's union branch presidents and vice presidents will be trained in professional association work, social work, etc.
At the conference, the Provincial Women's Union awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Project on training cadres and civil servants of the Women's Union at all levels and women's union heads for the period 2019 - 2025.
