On November 15, information from the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board said that as of mid-November 2025, the total import-export turnover through the province's border gates had reached over 81 billion USD, an increase of 43% over the same period in 2024. The total import-export turnover declared at the Customs Branch of Region VI reached over 6.6 billion USD.

It is forecasted that the number of vehicles carrying import and export goods through Lang Son province in the last months of 2025 and early 2026 will increase by about 10 - 15% compared to previous months; and to continue the momentum of border economic growth, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has directed functional units to urgently carry out tasks related to the construction of border gate infrastructure, proactively develop plans to regulate vehicles...

Accordingly, relevant units actively completed bidding procedures and signed contracts for the project package to expand the specialized freight transport road in the area of ​​landmarks 1088/2 - 1089 in accordance with regulations; at the same time, completed procedures to ensure conditions for implementing construction of some segments of the package as soon as the site was available; accelerated the progress of selecting investors to implement non-budget projects in the area of ​​landmarks 1119-1120, contributing to accelerating the progress of implementing the pilot project to build smart border gates, ensuring compliance with the plan and the Prime Minister 's approval decision.

Along with that, the functional forces of Customs, Border Guard, Plant Quarantine and Border Management Center strengthen the grasp, resolve difficulties to improve the capacity of goods clearance; proactively regulate and divide the flow at border gates in the area, to avoid congestion of goods, especially during peak periods in the last months of the year.
