Which major graduates are appointed to the title of Grade IV Medical Technician?

Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:

Clause 2, Article 14 of Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BYT dated January 9, 2025 of the Minister of Health stipulates codes and standards for professional titles of nursing, midwifery, and medical engineering. The standard for training level of the title of Medical Engineering Grade IV is to have a college degree in the field of medical engineering or higher, and Clause 2, Article 13 stipulates the standard for training level of the title of Medical Engineering Grade III is to have a university degree in the field of medical engineering, a university degree in dental prosthetics, a university degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or biotechnology or higher.

In case an officer graduates from a university in biotechnology and has a training certificate according to the standards of the medical technician job title, he/she meets the training and development requirements of the Medical Technician position, grade IV, and is eligible for consideration for transfer and appointment to the Medical Technician position, grade IV.
