Can Tho City won 1 collective prize and 5 individual prizes at the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest

The contest is held annually to arouse passion, promote reading movement among young generation, encourage sharing, spread love of reading, contribute to developing reading culture in schools, communities and building a learning society in Vietnam.

This year's Reading Culture Ambassador Contest was launched in March 2025, for primary, secondary, high school students, university and academy students nationwide (including schools belonging to the armed forces) and the visually impaired. The contest is organized in two rounds: Preliminary Round at the Ministry of Public Security , Ministry of National Defense, provinces/cities, Vietnam Association of the Blind, universities/academies (from March to the end of June 2025) and Final Round organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (from July 1 to October 2025).

Five outstanding students of Can Tho City won the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.

The Preliminary Round of the Contest attracted nearly 1.2 million students from nearly 8,700 educational institutions. From there, the Organizing Committee of the Preliminary Round selected 519 excellent entries to participate in the National Final Round (404 articles and 115 videos).

At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 15 collective prizes and 140 individual prizes to students and groups with outstanding achievements in the contest. Regarding individual prizes, there were 4 Outstanding Reading Culture Ambassadors, 8 First prizes, 16 Second prizes, 32 Third prizes, 64 Encouragement prizes and Special prizes for the best entries.

These are also the typical faces of the Preliminary Round of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in recent years in Can Tho City.
