Can Tho City participates in the National Mobile Propaganda Contest to celebrate National Day September 2

The song and dance medley "The first Communist - Our Party, the sun is high" opened the program.

The program is directed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City; directed and art directed by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phu, Director of the Center for Culture and Arts of Can Tho City; scripted by Kim Vy - Tuan Kiet, with a duration of 35 minutes.

Song of the River's Confession

The program includes 5 performances: song and dance medley "The first Communist - Our Party has the high sun"; traditional song "River Market"; independent dance "Faith and Strength"; scenic song "Confession of the River" and song and dance medley "The Country Rises - Can Tho Aspires to Reach Far".

The traditional song performance "River Market" shows the beauty of Can Tho river culture.

Independent dance performance "Faith and Strength" with strong Khmer cultural identity in the South.

Participating in the performance are actors from the Can Tho City Cultural and Art Center, Khmer Art Troupe, etc. The program is elaborately and artistically staged, bearing the cultural identity and characteristics of Can Tho City after the merger.

The National Mobile Propaganda Contest to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism from August 4 to 9, 2025, will tour to serve people in the provinces and cities of Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong.

The song and dance medley "The country is rising - Can Tho aspires to reach far" ended the program.

The contest aims to widely propagate the nation's historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions; educate about life ideals; strongly arouse patriotism, confidence, autonomy, self-reliance, national pride, aspiration to contribute and the strength of great national unity in the cause of national renewal and international integration.
