Go Cong City: Construction started on the project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day

This is a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the event was Chairman of the People's Committee of Go Cong City Gian Ba Huynh.

Groundbreaking ceremony of Tan Trung Primary School.

Tan Trung Primary School was established on the basis of merging two schools: Tan Trung 1 Primary School and Tan Trung 2 Primary School with a training scale of over 1,000 students.

The school has not met the facilities standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training ; there is a lack of subject classrooms, learning support rooms, auxiliary rooms, and administrative rooms. Therefore, it has not met the teaching needs of teachers and the learning needs of students.

Therefore, the People's Committee of Go Cong City has proposed that the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province invest in additional facilities on the land at the main location with an area of about 11,112 ^m2 to ensure the training scale of 1,000 students after 2030 at this main location; the auxiliary location will be eliminated after the main location is fully invested.

The winning contractor is Tan Hoan Thien Construction Trading Service Company Limited. The winning bid value is over 19 billion VND, the contract implementation period is 240 days.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Gian Ba Huynh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Go Cong City, requested the Go Cong City Project Management and Land Fund Development Board to complete the procedures and shorten the time; the contractor must speed up the construction. For the Pedagogical Council of Tan Trung Primary School, when there are complete facilities, the quality of teaching and learning should be improved, contributing to the overall socio -economic development of the locality.
