On the morning of May 30, Long Thanh My Kindergarten, Long Thanh My Ward, Thu Duc City, was recognized as meeting national standards level 2 and achieving level 3educational quality accreditation.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that this is the 235th kindergarten in Ho Chi Minh City to meet national standards and the 15th school in Ho Chi Minh City to meet national standards level 2.
"Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has 1,305 kindergartens, of which 235 meet national standards and only 15 meet national standards level 2. Building a kindergarten that meets national standards is difficult, but meeting national standards level 2 is even more difficult. Very few schools meet all these criteria," said Mr. Nam.
Therefore, according to Mr. Nam, the fact that Long Thanh My Kindergarten has achieved national standard level 2 is a great honor for Thu Duc City and the preschool education sector of Ho Chi Minh City. This also shows the efforts of the school and the close and strong direction in investment in the education sector of the People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City.
On May 26, Phu My Kindergarten, District 7 became the 234th school to meet national standards out of a total of 1,305 kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested that in the coming time, the collective of teachers and staff of Long Thanh My Kindergarten as well as the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City continue to promote educational effectiveness, achieve the goal of child-centered education, promote child rearing, coordinate well with parents, and successfully complete educational tasks in the following years.
Thu Duc City (HCMC) alone currently has 28 national standard kindergartens (26 public schools and 2 non-public schools) and 3 level 2 national standard kindergartens.
Long Thanh My Kindergarten, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City was established in 2017, with an area of over 3,800 m2 , including 1 ground floor, 2 floors, 15 classrooms and functional rooms serving the care and education of children. The school has 2 physical education rooms, a separate art education room of 68 m2 fully equipped with toys and equipment, 1 room for children to get acquainted with foreign languages and information technology with an area of 68 m2 .
