On the morning of April 27, a rehearsal for the military parade took place in Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). This is a particularly important preparatory activity before the official celebration on the morning of April 30.

Since mid-April, the marching and parading forces have held many joint training sessions at their units to practice their formations and movements. Then, on April 18 and April 22, joint training sessions were deployed, and most recently, a state-level preliminary rehearsal on April 25 on Le Duan Street to best prepare for the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

The parade and commemorative march in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30 is a national event, jointly organized by the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party, the National Assembly , the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City.

In which, Ho Chi Minh City takes the lead in implementing and coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security , Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related units to deploy specific activities.
