Ho Chi Minh City aims to be in the Top 100 global startup ecosystems

For the first time, the City has entered the Top 5 leading innovative startup ecosystems in Southeast Asia.

According to StartupBlink, Ho Chi Minh City has been ranked globally for 4 consecutive years, especially in the Fintech sector with high growth rate and is currently in the Top 30 globally in Blockchain - 2nd in Southeast Asia. The city is the most vibrant and dynamic startup hub in Vietnam.

Mr. Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City said: “The promotion on the StartupBlink rankings is a worthy recognition of the joint efforts of the entire political system and the City's innovative startup ecosystem. Ho Chi Minh City's goal is to bring the startup and innovation ecosystem into the Top 100 most dynamic startup ecosystems globally by 2030"./.
