Ho Chi Minh City completes preparations for the funeral and memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

Units are busy checking the final stages to prepare for the visitation and memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will take place at Thong Nhat Hall from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 25 and from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on July 26. The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on July 26.

Up to now, preparations for human resources and materials to serve the visitation and memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at Thong Nhat Hall have been completed.

Outside the gate of Thong Nhat Hall, there was a notice of temporary suspension of service during the visitation and memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

In this area, the organizers also placed information boards about the General Secretary's brief biography and the list of the National Funeral Organizing Committee for people to know.

Before visiting, delegations and people... must register their information and wreaths with the Organizing Committee on the right side of the Reunification Hall.

Afterwards, people and visiting delegations will go through the security check area.

People coming to pay their respects and delegations from agencies, units, enterprises, schools, hospitals, and armed forces units coming to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong must have a designated leader and must wear formal, dark, and serious attire according to the National Funeral protocol.

The Condolence Book area is ready.

The area inside the Reunification Hall is placing a portrait of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong for people to visit tomorrow (July 25).

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also noted that people should not bring wreaths, fruits, incense, candles; individuals should bring their ID cards (or personal papers), not bring handbags, and not bring wreaths.

On the evening of July 24, security forces outside the Reunification Hall were also ready to serve the State funeral.

In this area, vehicles still circulate normally when passing through the gate of Thong Nhat Hall.
