The 2025 Vesak Festival is held on the occasion of Vietnam's 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This is one of the extremely meaningful international cultural diplomacy events of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and our country in 2025. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City and localities to introduce the image of the country and people of Vietnam who love peace, friendliness, solidarity and harmony; the development and prosperity after 50 years of national reunification.
