Ho Chi Minh City: Brilliant National Flag Streets

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, many localities in Ho Chi Minh City inaugurated the National Flag Street, both creating urban beauty and contributing to increasing patriotism in each citizen.

On April 26, the People's Committee and Youth Union of Nguyen Thai Binh Ward held a ceremony to launch the National Flag Street on Tran Hung Dao Street, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

According to the Organizing Committee, the flag route is not only a project of the local political system, but also a project of the people, a place where the will of many generations of local people converge to cultivate to preserve the image of the national flag always fresh in every street corner. The National Flag Route project not only contributes to the beauty of the locality but also helps raise awareness, educate patriotism, national pride, responsibility and action of generations towards the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, in Thu Duc city, many wards also inaugurated the National Flag Street, practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and welcoming Party Congresses at all levels.

In Long Thanh My ward, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward inaugurated the National Flag Road project on Road 1 and Road 1A in Quarter 1. The project is over 700m long, has 80 flagpoles, and a total cost of over 20,000,000 VND.

In Linh Trung ward, the Party cell, the neighborhood, the Front work committee, and the mass organizations of neighborhoods 13, 14, 15, and 16 held the inauguration ceremony of the National Flag Street on Le Van Chi Street, Street No. 16. The flag street is over 1,000m long, with 200 flagpoles and a total cost of 40,000,000 VND.

In Cat Lai ward, the National Flag Road was also inaugurated on this occasion. The National Flag Road project with more than 600m through wards 3, 4, 5 with the consensus and spirit of joint contributions of the people has been completed with a total cost of 31,500,000 VND, contributing to the construction of a cultural ward and a civilized urban ward.
