Ho Chi Minh City designs many special tours to celebrate 50 years of National Reunification Day

In particular, in the grand event celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification, at 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025, visitors will be present at the Independence Palace at the proud historical moment of the nation.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Ho Chi Minh City tourism and travel businesses have designed a variety of tours to promote the meaning and historical and cultural values, exploiting the potential and advantages of tourism resources of the City as well as neighboring localities.

Typically, the tour program "From Mau Than to the great victory of Spring" takes visitors back in time through prominent relics, recreating the development journey of the City such as the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, the Headquarters of the Liaison Delegation of the General Command of the Vietnam People's Army, the weapons hiding base of the Special Forces that attacked the Independence Palace in 1968 (weapons bunker), the memorial stele of the Saigon Special Forces soldiers, the Ho Chi Minh Campaign Museum...

The tour program “Legend of the heroic Sac Forest commandos - Steel Land and Bronze Citadel - Ho Chi Minh City” creates conditions for tourists to explore history with many destinations such as Sac Forest Historical Site, the base of Sac Forest Group 10, associated with the heroic fight of the special forces from 1966 to April 30, 1975; Sac Forest Martyrs Cemetery, where the graves of martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this land during two long wars for national independence are gathered; Cu Chi Tunnels - a unique and unparalleled underground "wonder".

Among them, we can mention the relic group with Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts, Thu Ngu flagpole, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters, Saigon Special Forces Relic system, Nha Rong wharf; the spiritual cultural group with Ong Ba Chieu mausoleum, water puppetry, folk music; the culinary group with sidewalk coffee, Saigon bread, broken rice...
