With treatment costs starting from only 19 million VND for in vitro fertilization (IVF) using fresh embryo transfer and from 29 million VND for IVF using frozen embryo transfer, the Center aims to serve couples with low to middle incomes who want to have children and are living and working in the western area of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Dr. Ly Thien Trung, Head of the Reproductive Support Unit - Quoc Anh IVF Center, in the past, many people still thought that in vitro fertilization was an expensive treatment method. This made infertile patients with difficult circumstances feel that cost was a big barrier.

At IVF Quoc Anh, doctors always consider and choose appropriate treatment regimens, to minimize costs for patients while still maintaining the best treatment results.

Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, the pioneer doctor who brought IVF technology to Vietnam, said that bringing advanced technology from abroad is not only to serve those with economic conditions, but also to give the poor the opportunity to receive treatment.

“Couples who have been trying to have a child for one or two years without success should see a doctor soon. Don’t wait too long, because the older a woman is, the more difficult it will be to have a child,” informed Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health , about 7.7% of the Vietnamese population has infertility problems. Meanwhile, the cost of treatment is high but is not covered by health insurance. In particular, ordinary laborers such as workers, farmers, and freelancers often do not have the financial means to access in vitro fertilization services, even though they always want to have children.
