During the 4-day event “Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days” (from October 18 to 21), a large number of people, students, artists, domestic and foreign tourists came to visit, enjoy, exchange and experience the unique culture and arts of Ho Chi Minh City. Over the past 50 years, Ho Chi Minh City's literature and arts have continuously grown, affirming its role as the country's creative center, always closely associated with people's lives and the city's steps. That literature and arts are likened to a river, quietly flowing and spreading beautiful things not only within Ho Chi Minh City but also throughout the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran The Thuan, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, said that "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days" in 2025 is the first event to be organized on a large scale, fully synthesizing all fields of literature and arts, reflecting the potential and strong creative aspirations of the City's artists in the new development period. "The event has created an open cultural space where artists, the public and tourists meet, enjoy and spread creative inspiration. The presence of artists from Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong at "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days" in 2025 has contributed to showing the diversity and uniqueness of art forms in the city", said the Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.
According to comrade Tran The Thuan, entering the post-merger development phase, Ho Chi Minh City is determined to promote the value of heritage and regional identity, connecting the quintessence of Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Con Dao in a common creative whole. In addition, the City will also expand domestic and international cooperation, organize more cooperation and exchange activities, and form a network of domestic and regional literary and artistic cooperation.

The closing program of “Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days” is divided into 3 parts: Ho Chi Minh City - The City I Love , Ho Chi Minh City - Our Common Home and Welcome to 50 Years of the City Named After Him . Interspersed with performances praising Ho Chi Minh City as dynamic, creative, tolerant and affectionate are folk songs performed by artists from Nghe An. This once again shows that literature and art are not only the voice of the soul but also the bridge of connection, the breath that nurtures solidarity, so that tradition and modernity can blend together, so that creativity can reach out with the rhythm of global integration.

After the closing ceremony, cultural and artistic events within the framework of "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days" in 2025 will continue to take place until the end of October and early November 2025, in the wards of Binh Duong, Ba Ria, Vung Tau and Con Dao Special Zone.
